MY CARE
 

 
  • My cure is prescribed by my GP or a specialist
He prescribes my spa treatment according to my pathology (rheumatology, phlebology, post-cancer of the breast) and provides me with the form of assumption of responsibility that I fill in with him. He also defines my spa resort: Balaruc-les-Bains. 

Please note that only the 18-day medical spa treatment (6 days a week / no treatment on Sundays) is reimbursed by Social Security. Shorter thermal cures, such as mini health cures (from 1 to 6 days of treatment) are not eligible for reimbursement.

  • My completed application for reimbursement 
I send it to my Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie, for approval (allow about 3 weeks), together with my declaration of resources.
  • I have received my agreement to cover the costs 
As soon as I receive my agreement, I check 
  • The name of the beneficiary
  • The spa, the therapeutic orientation and the order in case of double orientation
  • The year of validity: The receipts issued in December are valid for the whole of the following year. Those issued in October or November are valid only until 31 March of the following year.
  • In the event of an error, I should contact my health insurance fund.

  • Define the dates of my cure
The thermal baths of Balaruc-les-Bains are open from the end of February to mid-December. It is recommended to book as soon as possible, as soon as you have made your decision. I can book my cure by sending an email to accueil.reservation@thermesbalaruc.com, on 04 67 51 76 01 or directly online.
  • Find and book my thermal accommodation
After confirmation of my cure by the thermal baths, I can book my accommodation online or directly with the Balaruc-les-Bains Intercommunal Tourist Office on 04 67 46 81 46. 

It is strongly advised to wait for the confirmation of the spa establishment before booking your accommodation. Concerning the accommodation costs, they are at the charge of the curist. Depending on your resources, the Social Security can allocate a maximum of 150.01€.
  • Make an appointment with the thermal doctor of my choice
Before starting my thermal cure, it is imperative that I make an appointment with a thermal doctor in Balaruc-les-Bains. He will draw up my prescription for the cure, which is essential for the treatments to be carried out, and he will ensure my medical follow-up during the cure.

    • 1 or 2 swimming costumes
    • Several towels
    • 1 bathing cap
    • 1 pair of plastic pool sandals
    • 1 comfortable outfit (tracksuit style)
    • Comfortable walking shoes

Go to the thermal doctor's office who, according to my prescription, will give me the thermal treatment and the adapted thermal care. Then go to the chosen thermal establishment to fix the treatment schedule with : 
  • the payment for my cure
  • the prescription from the thermal doctor (obligatory)
  • the confirmation letter from the spa establishment
  • your certificate of entitlement (available on my personal space on ameli.fr)
  • my mutual insurance card
